Here is how the boat articulates.  The aka(s) pivot at the hull and at the ama.  The windward platform keeps the aka from swinging up, shrouds to the aka assembly keep it from dropping. 

The sail tack traveller can be seen. 

Most of these ideas came out a little different from the sketch in actual construction.
